Our Journey Together: A Heartfelt Thank You

We began this year with a big goal: to travel, compete, and bring home gold once again after our win in 2022. 

Our journey started with a local ambition—to earn our Protea colours once more—and we’re incredibly proud to be the first senior crew to achieve this twice, representing South Africa as both Protea athletes and world champions.

This incredible achievement would not have been possible without the support of so many. To our families, partners, husbands, friends, both new and old, and our dedicated coaches—you have been our foundation. Your encouragement, sacrifice, and unwavering belief in us have given us the strength to reach new heights.

To our generous supporters—those who contributed financially, donated products, offered items for raffles, and supported us in so many ways—your kindness and generosity brought us closer to our goals at every turn. 

A special thank you to the South African supporters who travelled overseas to cheer us on. Your voices and energy carried us through every performance and made us feel at home even miles away. 

And to all the supporters we met along this incredible journey—each of you has become part of our story, and we are grateful beyond words.

Representing our beautiful country on the world stage has been the greatest honour, and we carry South Africa’s spirit and pride in everything we do.
